You then divide with the length of the tile to obtain the number of tiles you need in that areas. It is necessary to increase the length of the tile while cutting by 5%-10%. This is done in case of breakages that might occur during the installation. Planning the layout area is also necessary as it will help you to avoid uneven spacing and poor alignment of tiles. Make sure that your space is well utilized and makes sure that you leave some space for the cement.
